Read about the lessons Alexis Paulie Gumbs draws from the life and extinction of sea mammal Hydromalis gigas. We will read an excerpt from Undrowned: Black Feminist Lessons From Marine Mammals, discuss the lessons we learn from it and write a letter honoring the sea mammal that could hear for miles and miles.
