    At this Summer Exploratory, you’ll learn about Girls Write Now’s Collaboratory, hear from our veteran Mentors and Mentees about their GWN experiences, jump right in with an exercise on activism and storytelling led by GWN Community Manager Emily Mendelson, and learn how to apply to the Collaboratory. Plus, we’ll have a Q&A, so come with questions! We hope to see you there!

    Workshop | Rhyming With Reason with JRose

    In this workshop, we will focus on the skill of rhyming in spoken word poetry. Participants will be presented with various writing prompts that challenge their rhyming skills. A number of literary devices will also be discussed, such as, alliteration and wordplay.
