Additionally, this journey includes financial literacy sessions covering budgeting, debt management, savings strategies, and investment basics. Equip yourself with the tools and support needed to thrive in your career journey and achieve financial stability.
Learning Objectives
- Effective Networking Techniques: Learn practical tips for effective networking, including how to introduce oneself, follow up after meetings, and leverage connections for opportunities.
- Budgeting and Money Management: Gain basic budgeting skills, including how to track income and expenses, manage debt, and save for future goals.
- Setting Career Goals: Set short-term and long-term career goals, and developing actionable plans to achieve them.
- Understanding the Writing Industry: Discover various career paths within the writing industry, including freelance writing, publishing, journalism, and content creation.
- Building a Personal Brand: Develop and communicate your personal brand as writers, including creating a unique voice and establishing a professional online presence.

Career Retention Journey Package
As a participant in the Career Retention Journey, mentees and mentors will complete online courses that explore financial literacy, budgeting, debt management, savings strategies, and investment basics along with leadership building and career growth strategies. You’ll be paired with a mentee or mentor for the duration of the journey, and you’ll meet with them at least twice each month. As a mentee or mentor in the Career Retention Journey, you’ll be paired with a mentee or mentor for the duration of the journey, and you’ll meet with them at least twice each month.

Career Retention Community Experiences
As a mentee or mentor in the Career Retention Journey, You’ll attend at least one community engagement experience a month – there are many to choose from to accommodate all of your interests and everyone’s schedules.

The Career Retention Journey is a part of the Career 360 Adventure.
