Join us for the Fifth Annual Girls Write Now Awards on Tuesday, May 23. We invite you to spend the evening honoring fearless leaders who are paving the way for the next generation of young women and celebrate the release of Rise Speak Change: The 2017 Girls Write Now Anthology.
Honorees include: Zadie Smith, New York Times bestselling author of Swing Time, On Beauty and White Teeth; Sophia Amoruso, Author and Founder of Girlboss, Melissa Harris-Perry, Editor-at-Large of Elle.com and the Maya Angelou Presidential Chair at Wake Forest University, and Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, Co-creators and Co-stars of Broad City. Elaine Welteroth, Editor of Teen Vogue, will serve as our emcee for the evening. The event will include a reception with open bar and hors d’oeuvres, the Awards ceremony, a performance by a Girls Write Now mentor-mentee pair, and a live auction to support our future.
