“Now, a few months later, Amanda and Estée Lauder Companies have announced that five U.S.-based organizations will receive funding from the initiative: the American Library Association, Girls Write Now, We Need Diverse Books, WriteGirl (of which Amanda is an alum), and MIGIZI, which focuses on Native American youth. The five grant recipients were chosen based on their ability to impact and organize for young and diverse communities, among other key factors.”
