Today, the young women of Girls Write Now get the platform and visual representation they deserve: Big, bold images that capture the vitality and diversity of the girls are featured on multiple billboards throughout three Times Square locations. “It takes real holistic relationships to change a girl’s trajectory, and now you can see them come to life, front and center on the world’s biggest stage. We couldn’t be more proud,” says Girls Write Now Founder & Executive Director, Maya Nussbaum.

Girls Write Now is meeting an unprecedented demand for our writing and mentoring programs, and we are serving nearly 40% more girls. Our girls are over 90% high need, 95% girls of color, and over 75% immigrant or first generation. The outcome of our work? 100% of Girls Write Now seniors are accepted into college.
