Greetings everyone,
I’m Madison Lawson, from Charlotte, NC. I’m currently an English & African-American Literature graduate student at NCA&T in Greensboro, NC. I plan on being an archivist; I want to research and preserve archives of African-American history because I have a deep love and respect for my culture. I’m currently in graduate school working on a thesis and I plan on applying to history/research internships and participating in conferences this academic year.
Hi everyone! I am thrilled to be in this program and excited for all the experiences and opportunities it offers. My name is Abbie Stewart, and my hometown is Birmingham, AL, where I am studying Computer Science at UAB. I work in communications and social media, and I love the storytelling these avenues offer for moving community-focused initiatives forward. My dream career would be combining my love of marketing and brand design with computer science and working to bring awareness to important projects through digital marketing. I am making progress to more greatly enter that field by continuing my academic training and continuously working to hone my skills in telling stories that matter.
