Within the multifaceted discussion of how to cultivate positive mental health practices, this studio will discuss exploring cultural identity as a means of nurturing oneself. Learn about how writing is used as a means of personal self-care and navigating rich cultural heritage.

In “Resistance”, the second part of the series, “Joy, Resistance, and Change”, we read work that explores cultural storytelling that differs from the dominant narrative about one’s culture, and then have practice writing our own.
