Girls Write Now Office | Open to all mentees, all mentors and program alum

Join us for a showcase of original mentor and mentee podcasts, videos, and visual art—and two new books: Here & Now: The Girls Write Now 2024 Anthology and Girls Write Now on the Art of the Craft: A Guidebook to Collaborative Storytelling. This hybrid event will feature performances from mentees and mentors, book giveaways, and a peek into our 2024-25 Collaboratory programming!

Writing Difficult Moments & Histories with Humor

Open to all mentees, all mentors, program alum and the public

Everyone remembers a time in middle school when you should have stood up for yourself, or for someone else, but... you just couldn't find your voice? Author and Educator Anna Lapera will lead us through writing prompts centered around how to use humor and inner dialogue when writing difficult histories and experiences.

One Letter 4 All Workshop Series

Open to all mentees, all mentors, program alum and the public

Join us at the Girls Write Now office for an inspiring afternoon of social activism through compassionate letter writing for humanitarian causes. In Jly, we will support two impactful organizations: Any Refugee and Radical Reversal. We'll blend creativity with purpose as we learn about and contribute to these vital initiatives. This workshop is perfect for those who enjoy writing, being artistic, and making a positive impact through human connection and social activism. Everyone is welcome!
