Charis Satchell is a Podcast Producer for CNN Audio’s Original Series team. Prior to joining CNN, she was a Broadcast Associate at CBS Sunday Morning and a News Associate for the CBS Evening News. She started her career in news as an intern with CNN Heroes and ABC News, World News Now. A first generation American to Jamaican parentage, Satchell is a proud New Yorker who loves the beach, discovering new foods and indulging in fashion. She holds a B.A. from the University at Albany and a M.A. from Hofstra University, with both degrees being in journalism.
