Food, wine & hospitality have been the passions and the interests that shaped Daria’s academic and professional pursuits; after graduating from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, Daria began a career in hospitality and now works as the Prestige Account Manager for Moët Hennessy, in New York City. In this role, she represents Dom Perignon, Ruinart and Krug and manages the partnerships, development, planning and execution behind bringing these iconic brands to life. Growing up in Syracuse, Daria spent many evenings lingering over dinner with family, often listening to the daily experiences her mother would share as an art teacher in an inner-city school. She tirelessly advocated for her students, pushing them to pursue creative avenues. She also pushed Daria in those directions as well, both formally and extracurricularly. Daria had countless hours to herself exploring books, writing, painting or building sculptures and often dreamed of being a writer. As a senior in college, she had a photograph selected and shown at the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art. And while she is not formally published, she has started developing a wine blog called Femmoenology that presents wine from the female point of view.
