Gloria Liang is a high-school student in Rockville, Maryland. She writes young adult fantasy and is working on a novel about a young inventor meeting an animate doll. Outside of writing, she loves digital art and perpetually smells like chlorine from swimming. Gloria is excited to finish her book and to be a part of GWN.
Artist‘s Statement
My stories and articles draw upon my experiences with identity. I’m passionate about Asian American issues, women’s empowerment, and others that are often not spoken about. Through writing these pieces, I hope to provide a new perspective and foster empathy in others while reflecting on myself and the nuances of these problems in the world around me.
