Kailee Ortiz is a young Latina from Brooklyn, currently in her junior year of art high school, where she explores not only her love for music and singing but for poetry and short story writing. She hopes to become more proficient in Spanish so she can better communicate and experience traveling abroad in the near future.
I love a good twist in my stories. It’s both fun and amusing to me to write that was headed in a way different direction. I have a habit about writing about regrets or heartbreak, challenges that have caused upheaval in my life at times. Writing about them empowers me and always reminds me of the talent I have when I put my work first. The more I practice and hone my craft the better I get and the more confident I feel others will like it the more I write.
