Over her high school experience, Kenisha has been heavily involved in growing her passion for writing and advocacy. Working with several organizations across the city, she works towards advancing civic engagement and amplifying youth voices while playing an active role at her school newspaper as an editor. Through Girls Write Now, Kenisha hopes to broaden her horizons and expand her skill set as well as be part of a community of inspirational peers and mentors. In her spare time, Kenisha enjoys cooking, reading short stories, checking out the newest museum exhibits and trying various iced coffees from around the city.
