This is a piece, derived from my own experience, about the difficulty of letting people go. It was written in hopes of reaching an audience that, too, have experienced this and helping them move on.
Kianna Cho is an 11th grader who primarily exercises her passion for writing by creating informational works or short, fictitious stories, sometimes accompanied by illustrations. She continuously practices her writing skills in hopes that she will someday publish a novel.
I have always had a very creative mind and writing is my long-time, primary way of communicating my thoughts and feelings. Some of my works are created for myself, while others are written for anybody to relate to and find comfort in. Though publicly sharing my works is new to me, I have grown comfortable with it and will continue, with the motivation of positively affecting my audience.
The mind is our greatest asset, one that is used every moment of our lives. Some, like myself, have found new purpose for our minds, as escapism from reality.
