Samantha Thornhill is a poet, children's author, educator, and producer from Trinidad & Tobago. This global performer has a versatile body of work that she has shared on stages from Swaziland to Seattle. Her poems have been published widely in anthologies, journals and magazines. For a decade in New York City, Samantha taught poetry to acting majors at the Juilliard School. She also taught high school youth, as well as senior citizens. Samantha’s most recent publication, A Card For My Father is the first title in a trilogy of picture books exploring the lasting effects of a father’s incarceration on his first-grade daughter, Flora. Her poetry collection Ascending Odes is forthcoming.
