Taranis is currently a high school sophomore in Brooklyn, NY. He enjoys reading, writing, playing the guitar and anything creative. He wants to connect with others and experiment with new things, both in and outside the writing world. He hopes to publish a novel one day and help people understand themselves through fiction.

Artist‘s Statement
As a transgender writer, my work is interlaced with the theme of a disconnect from yourself. It’s never explicitly mentioned, but my characters navigate the world similar to how I do: feeling as if they are an outcast, disconnected from society/personhood, and feeling like you’re never truly ‘seen’. My work has grown to include more positive themes, such as found family and connections among those like you.
