Join us for a community conversation, led in partnership with the New York Peace Institute, about the crisis in Israel and Palestine, and ongoing student activism in the United States. This will be a session grounded in each of our stories, how we came to feel the way we do about the crises, how we learned what we know, and why we feel the way we feel.
Join us at the Girls Write Now office for an inspiring afternoon of social activism through compassionate letter writing for humanitarian causes. In June, we will support two impactful organizations: Hearts of Dinner and Radical Reversal. We'll blend creativity with purpose as we learn about and contribute to these vital initiatives. This workshop is perfect for those who enjoy writing, being artistic, and making a positive impact through human connection and social activism. Everyone is welcome!
Join us at the Girls Write Now Office for our Summer Open Mic Series. Performers are invited to share their work (poems, songs, stories, and more!) on the mic for an audience as we gather to celebrate creativity and build community.
Everyone remembers a time in middle school when you should have stood up for yourself, or for someone else, but... you just couldn't find your voice? Author and Educator Anna Lapera will lead us through writing prompts centered around how to use humor and inner dialogue when writing difficult histories and experiences.
Join us for The Girls Write Now 25th Anniversary Radical Gratitude Awards, where we will be honoring select supporters of our community.
