Girls Write Now Open House

Open to the public

Join our Open House where you’ll learn about our award-winning writing and mentoring programs for youth, as well as our mission and track record of success. We’ll walk you through our two main programs, Writing 360 and Writing Works, so you can decide on the best program fit for YOU! You’ll have the chance to hear from mentee/mentor pairs about their experience at Girls Write Now, and view some samples of the amazing work produced by our prolific mentees. In true Girls Write Now fashion, we will also provide you with some fun writing prompts where you’ll be able to get a taste of the writing you might produce in each program. At the end, there will be time for a Q&A, so feel free to bring questions!

We welcome all prospective mentors who are or will be 25+ by September 2022 and prospective mentees who are girls, women and gender expansive writers and media makers in high school or beyond as of September 2022. Parents, guardians, educators, community based organizations and companies are also welcome to join us for our Open Houses. We hope to see you there!
