School Sux, Learning Rox! In this session, we’ll discuss the three types of learning (Situational, Intentional, Self Learning) and practice skills to improve in each.

What is reporting and why does it matter? This month, we will learn the principles of interviewing and how talking to people and asking questions can add depth to our writing and empower us as writers.

In this month’s session, writers will explore how reconnecting with ancestry and memory can become powerful acts of resistance and healing. Through discussion and poetry, they’ll reflect on lineage, identity, and the ways writing helps reclaim history and build a sense of belonging.

Together, we’ll explore pairing visual art with poetry through the language of color. As we aim to use color theory as our guide, we’ll dive into the emotions and energies that different hues inspire.

This month, we’re talking about folktales, fairytales, and fables. What are they and what’s the difference between them? Why are there so many different versions of them, and how might you participate in the tradition of re-writing and re-imagining these stories?

This month, be prepared to learn about how easy zine creation can be (and what a zine is!) as well as how to pair photos and visual artwork with the written word to create something new and beautiful. No experience or supplies needed — just come prepared for a night of chill vibes and three or more of your own photos for this project.

In this session, attendees will explore the Do’s and Don’ts and common misconceptions about Copywriting. Consider this the 411 on kickstarting a career in freelance digital marketing.
