Join Girls Write Now for an evening of FREE poetry that’s not to be missed at this fast-paced slam featuring GWN’s very own Poetry Ambassadors! GWN mentees from NYC’s five boroughs will be performing their original poetry at Lincoln Center to the theme “I HAVE A VOICE”.
And so do you! Come on a pair outing, solo, or with your friends to support your peers and make yourself heard, meet GWN mentee alum and poet-star, Brittany Barker, and enjoy a tasty pizza treat at the Poet-Linc Poetry Slam THIS Wednesday!

- Lincoln Center is located at 61 West 62nd Street (at Broadway).
- By subway: Take the 1, A, C, D, or B train to 59th St/ Columbus Circle. From there, walk NORTH on Broadway. The David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center will be on your RIGHT hand side.
- By bus: Several buses stop near the David Rubenstein Atrium: M7 or M11 SOUTH to West 66th Street; M104 or M5 to West 66th Street & Broadway; M11 NORTH to Amsterdam Avenue & West 65th Street.
