Interesting list! I was especially surprised to see Jumanji and Child’s Play among them. So, while not as popular, it appears if a screenplay is well-enough received, the creators can expand on it with books. I think this honestly works better with TV shows though as I’ve seen a lot more books based on that. Then again, I did see that the Nightmare Before Christmas got a YA adaption so maybe it works.
