Writing 360 matches woman-identifying, trans* and gender-expansive young adults with professional writers and media makers for a one-to-one mentoring relationship, structured around creative, critical and digital skill-based programs and services.
This Year-Long Mentoring Program Empowers Writers & Leaders to Own Their Voices Through…

Genre & Media-Based Workshops
Expert teaching artists lead fun, inspiring workshops at the intersection of writing, art and technology. Mentees and mentors explore sub-genres within poetry, fiction, memoir and journalism while learning digital skills such as audio and video editing, coding and design.

mentoring Sessions & A solid support system
Mentees and mentors will explore and expand their creative potentials together. With the support of thoughtful, inclusive trainings and the Girls Write Now team—including mental health professionals who serve as Wellness Advisors—they’ll grow as writers and as humans.

SuBMISSION & PRESENTATION opportunities
Amplifying voices is the heart of our mission, so every community member has an Author Page on our site! Mentees will also have opportunities to show off their best work in our annual anthology and performance series! Plus, get support in submitting to contests, scholarships and beyond.
In the Words of Our Mentees…
Mentees Lucia Kim and Kilhah St Fort share how Girls Write Now has inspired them to explore new creative mediums, build confidence and find the fun in writing.
