- MIKEY MERCEDES is a senior at DeWitt Clinton High School and has been a mentee at Girls Write Now for two years. She describes writing as a lifelong passion, but says she didn’t really find her voice until joining Girls Write Now. Aside from writing, she is an eyeliner connoisseur, loves lasagna, and enjoys listening to the soulful stylings of Drake.
- JUDY ROLAND is president of Roland Communications and works chiefly as a ghostwriter for senior business executives. She loves being a member of the Girls Write Now community, collaborating with other mentors and mentees, and exploring new genres of writing. Judy’s other passions include spending time with her family and long city walks.
