‘How Did I Get Here?’ – Episode 2: Leah Chernikoff
“How Did I Get Here?” is a podcast about the different stories of women in media and their career journeys. This episode highlights Leah Chernikoff, the executive editor of Harper’s Bazaar.
Process
I first met Leah through Girls Write Now and have maintained contact with her for the past couple of years. We finally met in person in December of 2022, where I’ve gotten to know her journey as a professional and individual. After bringing up my podcast concept, Leah was immediately on board, and we scheduled a pre-interview and actual interview earlier this year. My mentor, Melissa Last, helped me edit and produce this episode.
