It’s Going to Be Okay
By Dalya Cordeiro & Paige Carlotti
This trailer gives the listener a glimpse into the podcast “It’s Going to Be Okay,” wherein the hosts interview mentor figures who have valuable anecdotes and life advice to bestow upon their juniors.
Process
This podcast was inspired by a recent school project of Dalya’s. Her assignment was to interview someone who had significantly impacted her life, and it was difficult for her to choose just one. While she ultimately decided upon her mentor, Paige, they agreed that individuals are a beautiful mosaic of everyone they have encountered throughout their lifetimes—how are people supposed to choose just one impactful person? Thus the podcast, “It’s Going to be Okay.” The goal is for Dalya and Paige to interview everyone who has had an impact on their life one way or another, for better or for worse, and mine the life lessons that make up each individual’s unique experience in this life. Most importantly, though, the purpose of this podcast is to spread the word that no matter what happens to anyone, it’s all going to turn out okay.
