NY Peace Institute: Intro to Restorative Justice and Restorative Practices

This January, New York Peace Institute, the official community dispute resolution center for Brooklyn and Manhattan, is offering a 2-day Introduction to Restorative Justice and Restorative Practices Training open to all undergraduate college students in New York City. We are calling for any undergraduate student leaders or representatives for a student organization to take this training.

Girls Write Now is excited to host a panel featuring undergraduate and graduate students, along with Girls Write Now alum, from diverse disciplines, areas of study, and universities. These panelists are recipients of prestigious fellowships and scholarships and will share their experiences in a Q&A format.

They’ll discuss their college journeys, highlighting how specific fellowships or scholarships helped them pursue their academic and personal aspirations. Attendees will gain valuable insights and actionable tips for discovering funding opportunities available at various institutions and strategies to position themselves as strong applicants at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
