Anthology Launch Party
Join us as we celebrate the launch of our newest anthology in partnership with Dutton Books, Taking Root: The Girls Write Now 2022 Anthology!
Hear the passionate, moving voices in this anthology for yourself with 3 back-to-back mentee performances, followed by writing prompts inspired by the pieces performed. The evening will be co-emceed by mentor and Anthology Committee member Nikki Palumbo and mentee Hazel Agicha.
Dutton Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House, works with Girls Write Now each year to produce our annual print anthology. Publicity—and marketing—driven, its focused list of fifty books per year is made up of half fiction and half nonfiction. Dutton’s imprints include Caliber, Plume and Tiny Reparations Books.

Girls Write Now Class of 2015 Mentee Alum Tiffani Ren landed her dream job as a marketing assistant position at Dutton, Plume and Tiny Reparations, a new imprint led by the brilliant comic, actor and writer—and Girls Write Now Agent of Change—Phoebe Robinson, dedicated to highlighting diverse and unique voices.

Girls Write Now offers opportunities for speakers and authors championed by Penguin Random House to pass on their passion and wisdom as guest speakers at our multi-genre, multimedia workshops and events.
